Apple iPad Cooking Apps

There are a lot of apps out there, but not a lot of cooking apps. They can be hard to find with general searches. What shows up under "culinary" may not show up under "cooking". These are the ones I use and / or the ones I have played with and either like or dislike. Your mileage may vary.

Paprika Recipe Manager The best app I've found for managing your recipes on the iPad	Culinary Fundamentals HD Short videos for just about any kitchen activity from knife technique to cutting meat.
The Photo Cookbook – Quick & Easy Probably the best visual cookbook for the iPad. Great images of the dishes you can prepare.	Epicurious Recipes & Shopping List Good comprehensive recipes
170,000+ Recipes and Grocery List - BigOven Pro Another nice program with a lot of good recipes.	RecipeFinder with over 300,000 recipes for iPad An easy way to locate recipes by ingredient
Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner Pro A different take on locating recipes. You select options and spin for recipes. A bit gimmicky, but fun to play with.	Weber’s On the Grill™ for iPad There are not a lot of BBQ apps for the iPad. This is a good one by people who know BBQ.
Cook’s Illustrated - America's Test Kitchen This is the free version with a subscription if you want full access. The price isn't bad at about $36 a year.
